My Locspiration

HEY GUYS! Welcome back to my blog. In this post, I want to just show you guys who inspired me to ultimately loc my hair. Before I do anything to my hair, I literally have to research. I mean, YouTube videos, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. I just like to have a feel of what my hair would look like.

Danielle Loxs (@LADISWAGG55)

This is the first YouTuber I subscribed to when I was looking for inspiration to start my locs. She has had her locs for 18 whole years! They are super long, beautiful, and more importantly 100% hers.

Shana B. ( @EssenceofShay)

This YouTuber is literally the funniest person I watch on YouTube. Her videos are awesome, and her locs look very healthy. She also has some good videos on dealing with colored locs .I dye my locs every so often so they are some real video gems.

&  of course ……

Willow Smith (@willowsmith)

I absolutely love Willow Smith ! Her,her music, her hair, and definelty her style! She is such an inspiration because she confidently rocks each hairstyle she has. I am not exactly sure when Willow started her loc journey, or why. BUT I love that she did because it is very inspirational.

It is important to have some type of inspiration. It gives you a little motivation to try different things with your hair. Sometimes even gives you hope, when you have bad hair days, or just lack confidence in your hair.

Throughout this journey, I have learned patience. I have learned to be thankful for the past, live in the now, and keep high hopes for the future. Starting my loc journey was one of the craziest things I have done, and I have never felt better. I hope to inspire and give other courage along their loc journey as well. I will share tips, stories, inspiration from time to time. Thank you for following along with me.
